Transportation

Efficient and compliant product delivery is essential to our operations at BAE Systems. To support timely and accurate deliveries to BAE Systems, this section provides key information and tools to guide your shipping process. This includes the Premium Freight Request Form, Incoterms 2020 Rules, Drop Ship Guidelines, and Shipment Entry Lead Time & Transit Standards to help you plan and manage shipments effectively.

If BAE Systems is responsible for transportation—whether small parcel, LTL, full truckload, or heavy weight air—always refer to the most current version of our Shipping and Routing Terms & Instructions. These guidelines override any routing noted on purchase orders or subcontracts. Please contact the BAE Systems Transportation Team at pns.transportation@baesystems.us to obtain a copy of our Shipping and Routing Terms & Instructions.

When submitting a freight request through Ryder, please ensure you review and follow the required shipment entry lead time and transit standards. Adhering to these standards helps avoid delays and ensures your shipment is processed without issue.

Be sure to check the Work Schedule for the destination site, as some BAE Systems locations do not operate on Fridays.
