Jonathan W. Greenert

Chair of the Board and Former Chief of Naval Operations

Jonathan W. Greenert (Admiral, U.S. Navy-Ret.) is the Chair of the Board of Directors of BAE Systems, Inc., the U.S.-based subsidiary of BAE Systems plc.
 
Admiral Greenert was first appointed to the Inc. Board in April 2016. In this role, he brings a vast breadth of leadership and management experience and expertise from a distinguished, 40-year career as a U.S. military officer and senior government leader. Nominated by the President in July, 2011, he served as the 30th Chief of the U.S. Navy (CNO) and member of the Joint Chiefs from 2011-2015.
 
He began his career as a submariner with multiple assignments culminating in command of the nuclear-powered submarine USS HONOLULU. Subsequently, he commanded two fleets including the U.S. 7th Fleet (Asia), and U.S. Fleet Forces Command (Atlantic Fleet). Prior to becoming CNO he served as Deputy Comptroller, Chief Financial Officer (N8) and Chief Operations Officer (Vice CNO).

He retired from military service on 1 October 2015.
 
Admiral Greenert serves on the Board of Directors of Johnson Controls Federal Services, and the Advisory Boards of UBS – Americas and Fidelis Cybersecurity. He holds the Chair, National Security Studies at the National Bureau for Asian Research, and serves as a consultant to the University of Connecticut, Boeing, Leidos, and Booz Allen Hamilton. 
 
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he completed studies in nuclear power and certified to operate and supervise a nuclear power plant. He is the recipient of various U.S. and International personal, leadership and campaign awards.

John F. Campbell

Former Commander of Resolute Support Mission and U.S. Forces—Afghanistan

General John F. Campbell (U.S. Army-Ret.) is a member of the Board of Directors of BAE Systems, Inc., the U.S.-based subsidiary of BAE Systems plc.
 
General Campbell was first appointed to the Inc. Board in June 2016. In this role, he brings extensive leadership experience from his distinguished, 37-year career as a U.S. Army commander with operational assignments in Germany, Haiti, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the United States.
 
General Campbell was most recently the commander of the International Security Assistance Force/Resolute Support Mission and United States Forces—Afghanistan. Prior to this command assignment, he served as the 34th Vice Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army, the second highest ranking position for our Army of more than 1 million personnel.
 
General Campbell graduated from West Point and served his early years in infantry and special forces assignments. He commanded a company in the 82d Airborne Division and a Special Forces Operational Detachment Alpha in the 5th Special Forces Group. As a field grade officer he served as the Aide-de-Camp to the Commanding General, XVIII Airborne Corps, deploying in support of Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti, he followed this assignment with another command billet at the battalion level with the 2d Battalion, 5th Infantry, 25th Infantry Division (Light) at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
 
During the early stages of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2002-2003, Campbell commanded 1st Brigade, 82d Airborne Division in Afghanistan, and later served as the Deputy Commanding General, 1st Cavalry Division and Multinational Division Baghdad during the surge in Iraq and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Subsequently he served as the Commanding General, of the legendary 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and deployed the entire division to Afghanistan in 2010-2011 as the Commander of Combined Joint Task Force 101/Regional Command East.
 
General Campbell serves on the Board of Directors of IAP, Rolls Royce North America, and Systematic Inc. He also serves on the Advisory Boards of AM General, SAP NS2 and on MITRE’s Army Advisory Board. He also serves on several veteran non-profit boards to include NS2 Serves, Code of Support, Hiring Our Heroes and Army Emergency Relief.
 
General Campbell holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Military Academy and a master's degree in Public Administration from Golden Gate University. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and the Army War College. During his military service, General Campbell earned a number of individual and campaign awards to include two Defense Distinguished Service Medals, three Distinguished Service Medals, the Defense Superior Service Medal, two Legions of Merit, three Bronze Star Medals, two Defense Meritorious Service Medals, six Meritorious Service Medals, two Humanitarian Service Medals, Air Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Combat Action Badge, as well as the Ranger and Special Forces Tabs.

Gina Haspel

Former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency

Gina Haspel is a member of the Board of Directors of BAE Systems, Inc., the U.S.-based subsidiary of BAE Systems plc.
 
Haspel previously was the first woman to serve as Director of the CIA (2018-2021). As a career CIA officer, she served for more than three decades as an intelligence officer, gaining experience in all corners of the globe. Haspel spent most of her career in the Clandestine Service, the undercover arm of the CIA. As director, she managed a global intelligence network to include collection, analysis, covert action, counterintelligence, and liaison relationships with foreign services. She served seven field tours for CIA and was chief of station in four of those postings.
 
In Washington, in addition to her tenure as Director of the CIA and Deputy Director of the CIA (2017-2018), Haspel’s leadership positions included acting director and associate deputy director for operations in the Clandestine Service. She has been awarded the Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal (2021), Distinguished Intelligence Medal (2021), Legion of Honor (France, 2020), Presidential Rank Award (2018) and the Donovan Award (2006, 2018).
 
Haspel chairs the CIA Officers’ Memorial Foundation and is a national security consultant at King and Spalding law firm.

Betty Sapp

Former Director of the National Reconnaissance Office

Betty Sapp is a member of the Board of Directors of BAE Systems, Inc., the U.S.-based subsidiary of BAE Systems plc.
 
In 2012, Sapp was named the first woman to serve as director of the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), a joint Department of Defense – Intelligence Community organization. After serving as the 18th Director of the NRO for seven years and as a CIA officer for more than 20 years, she retired in 2019.
 
During her tenure with the CIA and NRO, she obtained extensive experience in cybersecurity and related areas. Additionally, she was Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence from 2007-2009. She began her career as a United States Air Force officer, serving 17 years in various roles that included acquisition and financial management assignments on space and satellite programs.
 
In addition to her current board positions with BAE Systems, Inc., Systems Planning & Analysis, the Charles Stark Draper Lab, and Ball Corporation, she has also served on the board of Perspecta Inc., a leading cybersecurity and defense company.
 
Sapp holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, magna cum laude, from the University of Missouri and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Missouri – Columbia. She is Level III certified in government acquisition and was also certified as a defense financial manager.

Stephen W. Wilson

General, U.S. Air Force, ret.

Stephen W. Wilson (General, U.S. Air Force, ret.) is a member of the Board of Directors of BAE Systems, Inc., the U.S.-based subsidiary of BAE Systems plc.
 
General Wilson spent nearly 39 years in the U.S. Air Force. He has extensive operational experience, including commanding the largest Wing in the Middle East and commanding and reinvigorating America's nuclear Bombers and Missile forces in Global Strike Command before assuming his duties as the 39th Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force.
 
As the Vice Chief, he managed organizing, training and equipping over 685,000 active duty, Guard and Reserve Airmen, and helped direct strategy, policy, acquisition, technology, personnel, and risk management. He helped manage the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of the Air Force's $205 billion annual budget. General Wilson also served on the Joint Requirements Oversight Council setting the acquisition requirements for the Department of Defense.

 
General Wilson's many awards and decorations include three Defense Service Medals, the Defense Superior Service Medal, two Legions of Merit, two Bronze Stars, and two Air Medals.  General Wilson is a command pilot with over 4,500 flight hours that include nearly 700 combat hours. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and the U.S. Air Force Weapons School. He holds two Masters degrees - one in Engineering Management from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and one in Strategic Studies from Air University.

Tom Arseneault

President & Chief Executive Officer of BAE Systems, Inc.

Tom Arseneault is president and CEO of BAE Systems, Inc., the company’s U.S.-based, international defense, aerospace, and security company with nearly 41,500 employees and major operations in the U.S., UK, and Sweden. Ranking among the top 10 prime contractors to the U.S. Department of War, the company generated sales of $18.6 billion in 2025, delivering a full range of products and services across a broad and diverse portfolio for air, land, space and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, commercial avionics, security, IT solutions and support services. Arseneault is also an executive director on the BAE Systems plc Board of Directors, a member of the company’s Executive Committee, and an officer director on the BAE Systems, Inc. Board of Directors.
 
Throughout his career, Arseneault has led complex organizations responsible for fulfilling critical and technologically challenging missions. Recently he served as president and COO for the organization and was integral to its return to profitable growth. Previously, he was president of the company’s Electronic Systems Sector, responsible for operations spanning the commercial and defense electronics markets, and its extensive portfolio of mission critical electronic systems. He also served as executive vice president of BAE Systems’ Product Sectors, responsible for articulating and executing a vision that drove optimal business performance across the Electronic Systems and legacy Land & Armaments businesses.
 
Prior to his senior leadership appointments, Arseneault managed various organizations and programs for Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Company, and he remained with the unit when it was acquired by BAE Systems in 2000. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of engineering and program management positions with General Electric and TASC.
 
He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Boston University.

Alice Eldridge

Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary

Alice Eldridge is senior vice president, General Counsel and Secretary of BAE Systems, Inc., responsible for all legal matters associated with BAE Systems, Inc. and its businesses, which collectively employ nearly 41,500 employees in the United States, United Kingdom, Sweden, and generated sales of $18.6 billion in 2025. In this role, she is also responsible for the organization's Contracts, Security, Ethics, Compliance and Export Control functions. Additionally, Eldridge is a member of the BAE Systems, Inc. Board of Directors.

With more than 25 years of legal experience, Eldridge was appointed to this position after serving seven years as vice president and Chief Counsel for BAE Systems, Inc. Platforms & Services sector, comprised of the Combat Vehicles, Weapons Systems, Ship Repair, Protection Systems, Ordnance Systems, and Hägglunds business units. In this role, she led the sector’s legal team as an integral facet of the business, providing strategic and subject matter guidance throughout the pursuit, capture and performance of U.S. Government contracts, as well as international direct commercial and foreign military sales contracts for programs in Sweden, Australia, India, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, UAE, Singapore, Japan and Korea.

Prior to joining BAE Systems in 2012, Eldridge held a number of leadership positions in the legal function for Lockheed Martin Corporation. She was General Counsel for the Systems Integration and Tactical Systems divisions. During her tenure, she also served as vice president of Ethics and Business Conduct with responsibility for managing the corporation’s ethics program, which is internationally recognized as a model for promoting adherence to high standards of individual and business conduct. Before her nearly two decades with Lockheed Martin, Eldridge gained experience in government contracting as an associate with the law firms of Howrey & Simon and Davis, Graham & Stubbs.

Eldridge earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Vermont at Burlington, and she holds a Juris Doctor degree with honors from the George Washington University, National Law Center in Washington, D.C. She is a member of the Maryland and Washington, D.C. bar associations, the American Bar Association and the American Corporate Counsels Association.

In the community, she has been active on boards for the Montgomery County Adult English Literacy Council, the Broome County (N.Y.) Urban League, and the Owego, N.Y. Growing Years Children’s Center. Eldridge also served as Chair of the International Forum on Business Ethical Conduct from 2009 to 2011.

Reggie Robinson

Senior Vice President, Government Relations

Reginald Robinson is senior vice president of Government Relations for BAE Systems, Inc., responsible for all legislative affairs and government relations for the company, which collectively employs nearly 41,500 employees across major operations in the U.S., UK, and Sweden, that generated sales of $18.6 billion in 2025. Robinson is also a member of the BAE Systems, Inc. Board of Directors.
 
He previously served as the vice president of Executive Branch and International Government Relations, where he was the company’s primary liaison to the Executive Branch, including the Pentagon, State Department, Intelligence Community and the White House. He also supported the entire company covering foreign military sales and direct commercial sales through engagement with the U.S. government and foreign embassies. 
 
Prior to joining BAE Systems, Robinson enjoyed a distinguished career in the United States Air Force, retiring in 2014 at the rank of Colonel.
 
He served as a Group Commander, deployed Deputy Group Commander, Squadron Commander, and his extensive experience includes assignments as a planner and strategist on the Joint Staff, a military advisor to the President’s Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan at the State Department, as a military fellow in the House of Representatives, as well as a number of acquisitions and policy related roles.
 
He is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, and holds a master’s degree in finance from Bentley University. His is also a graduate of Air Command and Staff College and Air War College. His awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal and numerous Superior Honor and Meritorious Honor awards from the Department of State.

Dr. Charles Woodburn

Group Chief Executive Officer

Charles is Group Chief Executive Officer of BAE Systems plc. He joined BAE Systems in May 2016 as Chief Operating Officer, Executive Director on the BAE Systems plc Board of Directors, Director on the BAE Systems, Inc. Board of Directors and became Group Chief Executive Officer on 1st July 2017.
 
Previously, Charles held a number of senior management positions in the oil and gas industry including Chief Executive Officer of Expro Group, an oilfield services business. During a 15-year career with Schlumberger, Charles worked in the Far East, Australia, France and the United States.
 
Charles holds a First Class Honours Degree in Electrical Sciences and a PhD in Engineering from Cambridge University. He also holds an MBA from Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
 
When he’s not at work: Married with two children, Charles is a keen cyclist, skier and car enthusiast.

Brad Greve

Chief Financial Officer

Career story: Brad joined BAE Systems as Group Finance Director Designate in September 2019, becoming Group Finance Director and joining the BAE Systems plc Board on 1 April 2020.
 
Brad has a 30 year career in the energy sector with Schlumberger, holding roles including the Head of Finance for the group of companies called Wells which accounted for nearly 70% of the company’s overall profit.  He also served as Director of Internal Audit, in addition to numerous other Finance Director roles in a career which included assignments in UK, Romania, Nigeria, Italy, France, Brazil and the United States.
 
Brad was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and has an MBA from the London Business School and a Finance degree from SMU in Dallas, Texas.
 
When not at work: Brad enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, tennis, photography, music, and travel.
