Whether you have a specific question or simply want to understand where your business might fit, our SME team is here to help. They understand the challenges smaller businesses face, from resource pressures to navigating unfamiliar processes and they're here to guide you through them.

What is an SME champion?

Our SME champion acts as a senior advocate for SMEs across the business, helping to promote fair access to opportunities, raise awareness of supplier challenges, and encourage proportionate approaches to engagement and procurement. Working in support of the wider UK Government and Ministry of Defence SME agenda, the SME champion helps strengthen collaboration with SMEs and supports initiatives that enable innovative and agile businesses to contribute to the delivery of critical defence and security programmes.

I am committed to being a strong advocate for SMEs at BAE Systems, championing inclusive growth, innovation and collaboration to ensure small businesses can contribute, succeed and create lasting impact across our supply chain and communities.
