Safety
We have multiple programmes in place across our UK sites to ensure the safety and security of our people. We’re building a strong safety culture through preventative safety management, comprehensive training, the deployment of our Life Saving Rules, daily safety moments led by senior leaders and managers, and targeted interventions to address specific areas of safety performance. Our UK employees are empowered to ‘stop the job’ if they see something that threatens their safety or the safety of others in their work environment.
Our Life Saving Rules
Our work includes high risk operational environments. In response, we developed our Life Saving Rules. These are based on our risk profile, input from our experts and industry best practice. Our ten rules include employees, visitors and contractors across our sites. They define actions and assurances of safe practices for everyone involved in an activity and everyone is empowered to intervene or stop work if a rule cannot be followed.

Health and wellbeing
Everyone is different, so we offer a wide range of resources and programmes to support the wellbeing of our people.
Available to UK employees, our employee assistance programme is designed to help our people deal with personal challenges. It offers proactive support around physical and emotional health, including confidential counselling, as well as legal and financial information.
In the UK, we've trained more than 400 mental health first aiders. As volunteers, they're available during working hours and offer a confidential point of contact for any employee who is experiencing a mental health issue or emotional distress.
Our UK employees and their families have access to Unmind, a mental health app which provides a range of tools and exercises that can help to improve mental wellbeing.
We believe that everyone deserves to feel safe - at work, at home and in every part of their lives. Our response to domestic abuse focuses on raising awareness, providing support, signposting and ensuring a consistent, company-wide approach through clear guidance, a network of trained allies and quarterly webinars.
We're committed to supporting employees and our UK business is an accredited ‘Menopause Friendly Employer’. We partner with expert Henpicked to raise awareness of menopause symptoms and provide resources and training to help create a working environment that supports everyone to be the very best they can be.
