Together with our suppliers, we recognise the need to transform the way we do things to meet both emerging market needs and changing customer requirements.
This means we need to work more collaboratively so that we can champion new approaches to the development and delivery of combat air and ensure our products remain at the cutting edge of defence technology and capability for our customers.
The Typhoon Senior Leadership Collaboration Forum is just one way in which we are coming together to grow a community that fosters better collaboration which is crucial to the success of our programmes.
Bringing together 18 of our Typhoon supply chain partners, and 85% of the value chain, the focus of the first forum was to create better alignment, including identifying and removing barriers to collaboration, so that we can work better together for the future.
We must maintain this momentum, bringing meaningful engagement to our future endeavours, and building positive relationships with all partners. Going forward, the forum will meet regularly both face-to-face and virtually to share best practice, address emerging challenges and drive innovation across the supply chain.
Each gathering will offer the opportunity to explore new ways of working, set shared objectives and align our strategic goals that support the overall success of the Typhoon programme. This will ensure that all partners are fully engaged and empowered to contribute to our joint success.
