The Wedgetail Program (System Acquisition Contract) has allowed BAE Systems Australia to establish and provide a support for the ESM and EWSP fitted to the aircraft and its associated ground support products over their operational life.
The main objective of BAE Systems' Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) in-service support (ISS) program is to provide support to Boeing Defence Australia in achieving their objectives with the Commonwealth for the Electronic Warfare (EW) system. This is achieved through efficient use of resources to deliver the contracted level of availability, supportability and reliability of the EW system, and to integrate the BAE Systems elements of the support system, in such a way as to minimise the ongoing maintenance and support costs associated with the EW system.
