What we do
The Hawk Mk127 fleet allows the Royal Australian Air Force’s pilots of the future to fly the latest digital standard of Hawk Advanced Jet Trainer.
Viewed as the role model for through-life support contracting, the Hawk lead-in fighter (LIF) project was established by BAE Systems to provide and support an outstanding, state-of-the-art fast jet training capability for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). The Hawk lead-in fighter is a variant of the highly successful Hawk family, and it has been specifically adapted to deliver advanced flying and weapon systems training and support roles for the Australian Defence Force.

Under a performance-based contract, BAE Systems ensures aircraft sorties are delivered on budget and in line with the Royal Australian Air Force’s requirements. Throughout the support contract, BAE Systems Australia has established capabilities in maintenance, engineering, logistics and through-life supply chain management, and continue to deliver outstanding results.
