Overview

We provide a tactical edge to Navy, Army and Air Force through Mantlet™, our electronic support measures (ESM) solution.

Our products — Mantlet™ and Mantlet Edge™ — provide unrivalled accuracy, geo-location and sensor fusion at the edge of increasingly contested, congested and constrained electromagnetic operational environments.

From a single passive sensor to scalable mesh networked solutions, our Mantlet™ suite of products saturate the battlespace with silent superiority, enabling freedom of action at tactically significant range through the detection, identification and prioritisation of even the most complex emitters.

Mantlet™ and Mantlet Edge™ meet surveillance challenges across all levels of tactical operations.

Mantlet™

Integration onto land, air and sea platforms.

Mantlet™ is at the forefront of the electromagnetic battlespace of the Australian Defence Force, Border Force, fisheries protection and spectrum monitoring organisations.

Its size, weight and power enables it to be easily integrated onto unmanned aerial vehicles, land vehicles, helicopters, fast jets, transport aircraft and maritime platforms.

Mantlet™ passively detects, identifies and characterises emitters at better than 2°rms and provides an unparalleled geo-location capability from a single platform.

It provides the foundation of a true sovereign electronic intelligence capability, enabling users to take control of their own databases and threat libraries, while providing the capability to record data for post-theatre analysis and tailor file repositories to suit sovereign needs. It provides civilian organisations with the ability to monitor spectrum usage to identify sources of interference; identify illegal fishing activities and sovereign border incursions.

Mantlet™ is suitable to support spectrum regulators fixed monitoring sites. The system’s large instantaneous bandwidth is capable of simultaneously monitoring multiple frequencies, which eliminates the need to procure multiple receivers at a fixed location.

Why choose Mantlet Edge™

Mantlet Edge™ is the most advanced, portable, passive RF digital ESM ever built. It’s derived from the proven Mantlet™ system to meet the challenges of the complex and ever-changing ESM operational environment.

The system performs advanced ESM and geo-location functions in both military and civil applications.

The nature of Mantlet Edge™’s portability is ideally suited to spectrum regulators who routinely are tasked with sending personnel into the field to pinpoint the source of interference, a process that can take days.

Housing the strength and capabilities of Mantlet™, Mantlet Edge™ is compact, portable and easy to assemble. Its small size and weight makes it ideally suited to forward surveillance and reconnaissance of complex electromagnetic environments.

Mantlet Edge is precise and portable, it fits into a backpack.
Precise and portable

Mantlet Edge is optimised for man-portable and vehicle borne operations, the single platform geo-location algorithms enable highly accurate sensor cueing at tactically significant ranges.
