Spanning diverse areas of our business including maritime, strategic surveillance and advanced manufacturing, we employ more than 3,500 people across multiple sites in South Australia.
We’re building the Royal Australian Navy’s Hunter class frigates at the Osborne Naval Shipyard. We’re currently mobilising our trades workforce and will require around 1,200 qualified tradespeople over the life of the project. Our shipbuilding activities will also provide long-term career opportunities for engineers, project managers, and operational support professionals across areas such as finance, commercial, supply chain, IT, and human resources.
Edinburgh Parks is home to multiple disciplines including the headquarters for the Jindalee Operational Radar Network (JORN). We’re actively recruiting for people to help us deliver its $1.2 billion upgrade, to ensure Australia remains a world leader in maritime and air defence over-the-horizon radar systems.

What our people love about working in South Australia...
- Osborne is the heart of shipbuilding in South Australia. Our people love that they work onsite where the ships are being built – and every week there is something new to see!
- Edinburgh Parks offers the opportunity to work within SA's defence precinct and at one of our most populated sites. The site is north of Adelaide and the area provides affordable housing, a vibrant lifestyle, and a thriving community.
- Bursting with colour from the neighbouring Jacaranda trees, Flinders Street in the Adelaide CBD is close to multiple public transport options, and an abundance of eateries and shopping precincts.
- At the Tonsley Innovation District, our people are immersed in a hub of research, technology and manufacturing. This site is perfectly located for our people who live in the southern areas of Adelaide.
