Andrew Greene biography

Andrew Greene is the ABC’s defence reporter and has covered federal parliament since 2004.
National Security and Defence Reporter, ABC He began his career in commercial radio and while at the Seven Network was a finalist in the Walkley Young Journalist of the Year Awards for his coverage of the Navy’s HMAS Success scandal.
 
In 2010 he joined the ABC and has reported from Afghanistan, Iraq, the United States and Europe for the ABC, as well as assignments across Australia such as the Queensland floods. Between 2012 and 2013 Andrew spent a year based in Prague reporting on Central Europe.
