Information Analysis Centers (IAC) Multiple Award Contract (MAC)

Purpose

IAC MAC is a government-wide contracting vehicle administered by the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC). IAC MAC is a research, development, testing, and evaluation contract used to enhance and develop scientific and technical information across a very broad range of technology areas to meet the current and future technology needs of the U.S. military and all federal agencies. The pre-competed contract vehicle supports research and technology insertion through studies and analyses, development, and limited production, to include:

  • Research, development, testing, and evaluation
  • Technical development
  • Evaluation, plans, and frameworks
  • Research, analysis, and training
  • Operations and support development analysis
  • General subject matter expertise
  • Technical conferences and meetings

BAE Systems understands DTIC IAC’s mission to continuously improve the delivery of high-quality Scientific and Technical Information (STI) to the Department of Defense (DoD) and broader federal government. The company has a long history of driving innovation and technology development by anticipating and responding to the information needs of our government customers.

Contract Vehicle Benefits

IAC MAC is the Department of Defense’s preferred contract vehicle for research, development, testing, and evaluation contracts. IAC MAC offers a streamlined acquisition process that reduces the average time from proposal submittal to contract award to six months. Contractor competence, contract flexibility, quick response, reduced costs, and ease of use are all underlining factors in the government’s choice of IAC MAC. Additional ID/IQ benefits include:

  • A nine-year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract with $28 billion ceiling and pass through fee of 1.9 percent
    • Allows for all contract types, including hybrids (i.e., CPFF, FFP, FFP-LOE)
  • Accommodates Classified and Unclassified services (up to Top Secret, compartmented, and collateral)
  • Accommodates CONUS and OCONUS requirements (including in-theater and contingency operations areas)
  • Primarily uses tradeoff/best value method for source selection
  • Complies with federal government law and regulation compliance regarding small business contracting

All future ID/IQ task orders will be awarded by the Air Force Installation Contract Agency/KD Offutt AFB, Nebraska in support of the DoD Information Analysis Center Program Management Office.
