BAE Systems, Inc. is committed to a Community Investment program that focuses on being a good corporate citizen and makes a positive impact in the communities where we live and work.  This commitment is demonstrated through our partnerships and work with local and national organizations whose focus areas align with ours. Our Community Investment strategy reflects who we are as a company; by providing both tangible and intangible benefits in support of those in need.

We're committed to supporting organizations and programs that are closely connected to our company, our mission and our values. We focus on initiatives that improve the lives of our military customers, advance STEM education, and support causes that make an impact on our society and in our local communities.

Supporting our military, their families, and Veterans

BAE Systems understands that it’s not just the individual in uniform who serves, it’s the entire family.  We are proud to partner with organizations who are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of military personnel and their families, throughout their military career and their transition into civilian life.
Every May, our employees participate in the BAE Systems’ Remember. Honor. Support. campaign supporting military personnel, their families and veterans. Our support doesn’t stop there.  Throughout the year we partner with organizations such as United Through Reading,  Blue Star Families for their Campaign for Inclusion,  or the USO for Project Elf, ensuring military families have an extra special holiday season, and many more.
Tech Power program
Our Tech Power program maximizes our impact on technology education and our veterans and military families by improving lives and advancing careers through the power of innovative technology and experiences. Through the Tech Power Impact Design Program, we develop solutions that improve the lives of disabled veterans. We bring together engineering college students, employee mentors, veterans organizations, and others to create and execute meaningful projects to support the veteran community.

Investing in our future

We are excited to play a part in inspiring the next generation of dreamers, planners, and doers. Their aspirations for the future will one day contribute to our dedicated support of aerospace, defense and security. By investing in STEM focused organizations such as FIRST,  MATHCOUNTS, Girls Who Code and Discover Engineering, we help introduce students to the world of engineering.

For more than 25 years, BAE Systems, Inc. and FIRST® have enjoyed a synergistic partnership. We partnered with FIRST® because we believe in what they do for teams and the community. We continue to partner with FIRST® because of what we can do together for the future.

Employee-nominated nonprofits are invited via email to fill out the online application and will be given preference in the review process. Nonprofits that have not been nominated by an employee, but that meet the eligibility requirements, may apply directly via our application.
