“Organizations like WIA are helping more women realize exciting career paths and opportunities available in aerospace-related industries,” said Cangianelli. “The WIA is also a launch point for innovation, and I’m excited to work with its members to tackle industry challenges and explore creative solutions that will drive our industry into the future.”
WIA members share an interest in a broad spectrum of aerospace issues including aviation, human space flight, remote sensing, robotic space exploration, satellite communications and the policy issues surrounding these fields.
The organization plans to announce its complete list of officers and its board of directors later this month. To learn more about WIA, visit: www.womeninaerospace.org
