BAE Systems Regional Aircraft is a leading provider of managed solutions for aircraft support services and engineering.
We have a long and proud history of aircraft engineering in the commercial sector. Our experienced engineers have the necessary skills and knowledge to work closely with aircraft operators to help deliver technical solutions to their requirements.
Our regional aircraft business is an accredited Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) approved organisation to Part 21, Subparts J & G, and as the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and Type Certificate Holder, we offer a range of capabilities to our aircraft fleet, which includes the BAe146, AVRO RJ and the Jetstream Advanced Turbo Prop aircraft.
Flight safety is paramount to aircraft operators and our prime role is to support state agency investigations into accidents or serious incidents occurring to our aircraft type designs, but also investigate regular incident reports, with the aim of:
- Identifying any deficiencies with the type design that might be a factor in the cause of the safety occurrence and where necessary introduce corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of an incident.
- Ensuring our Type Certificated products continue to meet the required Airworthiness safety objectives and are safe and sustainable products for our customers to operate.
Technical support
We deliver customised solutions that provide the best technical assistance and operational advantage to our customers. Our experienced engineers combine technical knowledge with operational know-how, and are on-hand around the clock to support our customers. Our support services include:
- Production, review and updates to publications containing Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA)
- Technical support across all aircraft types
- Management of fully approved repair and change solutions
