Overview
The facility is UKAS accredited to ISO17025 laboratory standard, providing an independent testing service in support of product development and qualification. It is also accredited by UKAS for testing that is compliant with defense standards and NATO STANAGs. The facility also holds ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 as part of the LUK accreditation. The site, located near Glasgow airport, is approximately 430 acres and specialises in the testing of:
- Defence related products (non-explosive)
- Power units for Maritime applications
- Hardware for vehicle platforms
- Complex weapons
- High hazard products
- Automotive batteries
