Today we announced the Group’s half-year results for 2022.

Today we announced that Cressida Hogg will join the Board as a non-executive director and Chair designate, with effect from 1 November 2022. Subject to election at the Company’s Annual General Meeting next year, she will succeed Sir Roger Carr as Chair at the conclusion of the AGM, due to be held on 4 May 2023.

HMS Lancaster has today departed Portsmouth Naval Base, marking the completion of a period of maintenance and upgrades delivered by BAE Systems to optimise her for upcoming deployments. The Royal Navy Type 23 Frigate will now spend a brief period on NATO tasking ahead of further deployments.

BAE Systems has signed a five-year contract to support its ARTISAN Radar on the Brazilian Navy’s flagship, the multipurpose aircraft carrier NAM Atlântico.
