As one of the UK’s largest apprenticeship providers, BAE Systems has analysed Censuswide’s survey of the latest attitudes of young people and parents to coincide with National Apprenticeship Week (9-15 February). The findings are part of the annual Apprenticeship Barometer, which has surveyed 1,000 young people aged 16–24 and 1,000 parents of the same age group to understand their views on education, training and pathways to career success.

BAE Systems Bofors has signed a share purchase agreement to pursue the acquisition of Aston Harald Mekaniska Verkstad, a Sweden-based provider of precision machined, large, complex structures for aerospace, defence and commercial products.

BAE Systems and PGZ have signed an agreement to explore cooperation on a range of strategic business interests. The two leading defence businesses will look to work together more closely to support security requirements and economic growth in Poland, the United Kingdom and the wider European market, as well as to target appropriate global export opportunities.

BAE Systems Launchpad is a new technology incubator programme designed to take dual-use technologies beyond the defence sector and help cutting-edge innovations reach their full commercial potential.
