Portsmouth, United Kingdom: A new £45 million contract awarded to BAE Systems and QinetiQ will provide shore testing capability for the Royal Navy and sustain 250 jobs in the Portsmouth area, highlighting the region as the UK’s centre for complex combat systems capability.

Warton, United Kingdom: BAE Systems has received a contract worth £446m to support the fleet of Typhoon jets. The five-year support contract will provide a range of engineering services and contribute to the customer’s 30% savings target on Typhoon support. It will also help to sustain UK engineering capability and jobs.
