Eight thousand hours, or one complete lifetime of durability testing is now complete on the F-35 conventional takeoff and landing (CTOL) variant.

Philippa Riddoch, a BAE Systems Manufacturing Engineer working on the F-35 programme in Lancashire has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Young Woman of the Year Awards run by the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

A group of our apprentices have won the Make it in Great Britain Challenge – a competition to find the most innovative pre-market products, processes and concepts in the UK.

Along with Siemens, Nissan and 35 other companies in the UK, BAE Systems has received some £1.4M out of a total fund of £67M made available by the Government today for companies to train young people. The Company is matching this funding.
