Cost effective for the UK taxpayer

We have worked hard over the last five years, in partnership with the UK MOD and RAF, to develop a service that ensures the RAF are able to meet their operational requirements and that is also cost effective for the UK taxpayer.

Peter Davidson, Availability Operations Manager for the Fast Air Support Project Team at the UK MOD’s Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S), said: "I'm delighted we've signed this one year extension to the Typhoon Availability Service. This enables us to jointly embed the best practice and lessons learnt from the first 5 years of the TAS contract and deliver lasting benefit to the RAF front-line, MOD DE&S organisation and BAE Systems.”
Our full support
Under the TAS contract, we are responsible for delivering Typhoon aircrew and ground crew training, maintenance and the servicing of the aircraft, providing technical support and managing spares, repairs and logistics.
We support the fleet at RAF Coningsby, RAF Leuchars and the Falkland Islands.
