LCP appointed as actuarial services provider to BAE Systems schemes

During 2025, in line with good governance expectations, the trustees of the four BAE Systems defined benefit pension schemes initiated a formal review of their actuarial services provider arrangements.

As a result of this review, the Trustees of each of the schemes (BAE Systems Pension Scheme, BAE Systems Executive Pension Scheme, Royal Ordnance Pension Scheme and Royal Ordnance Senior Staff Pension Scheme) decided to appoint LCP as actuarial services provider and as Scheme Actuary.

The first three of these appointments are effective from 1 April 2026. The appointments are as follows:

  • LCP CEO, Aaron Punwani as Scheme Actuary to the BAE Systems Pension Scheme
  • Laura Amin as Scheme Actuary to the BAE Systems Executive Pension Scheme
  • Edward Symes as Scheme Actuary to the Royal Ordnance Senior Staff Pension Scheme

In addition, LCP’s Jeremy Dell will also be appointed as Scheme Actuary to the Royal Ordnance Pension Scheme with effect from 1 July 2026.
