This full-service facility provides agile response to customer requirements, whether emergent or planned. The facility offers support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Norfolk Ship Repair, a 109-acre facility, plans, manages and performs nearly any size job of any complexity.

Located in a U.S. Navy mega-port and principal commercial area, the primary customer is the U.S. Navy.; Additional customers include cruise ship owners, tanker owners, ferries, and commercial cargo ships. Norfolk Ship Repair also offers competitive pricing for off-site emergency repairs.

The shipyard is perfectly positioned to serve the varied requirements and needs of its government and commercial customers. It strives for superior customer satisfaction and on-time delivery of a quality product. Norfolk Ship Repair also maintains extensive safety awareness programs, environmental protection best practices, and a sparkling clean, orderly facility.

The full-service repair facility is ISO 9001 1994 and located on the Elizabeth River with excellent access to Hampton Roads, the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

Norfolk Ship Repair is successfully executing five-year multi-ship, multi option contracts for:

  • Guided Missile Cruisers (CG)
  • Guided Missile Destroyers (DDG)
  • Large Deck Amphibious Ships (LHA/LHD)

Norfolk Ship Repair is a significant teammate on the Aircraft Carrier, Frigate, and Amphibious Ship Midlife contracts.
