The company is aggressively looking to fill these positions with sewers, assemblers, inspectors and machinists to support operations that manufacture military protective equipment such as vests and helmets.

BAE Systems announced in March the receipt of a four-year contract to produce tactical vests equipped with soft body armor. Under this contract, up to 408,000 vests could be produced. The business also manufactures Lightweight Helmets for the U.S. Marine Corps. The current contract is for two years with the potential to manufacture 240,000 helmets.
