A new software-defined approach
BAE Systems Anti Threat System (BATS) is a new software defined solution, enabled by C2 and decision support, to counter uncrewed threats.
UAV activity is detected by sensors that feed into a data core. This identifies and classifies the threat level. It then provides a recommendation to authorised personnel, or employs the most appropriate effector response based on your counter measure toolkit, all while maintaining a human in-the-loop.
The powerful and secure data core can also analyse signature capture data in real-time to provide warnings, confirm action, deliver a counter measure or assess effectiveness.
National Defence
The threat from hostile aerial incursions and attacks is growing rapidly and unpredictably. BATS can provide real-time detection and rapid neutralisation of these threats, which can significantly increase the protection of forces and critical assets.
Critical national infrastructure protection
