We are recruiting and training the thinkers of tomorrow; the next generation of engineers, manufacturers, technologists and scientists to ensure we have the sovereign skills needed to deliver future defence capability. 
 
There are already 4,500 people working on the programme in the UK across the Team Tempest partner organisations and Ministry of Defence, and thousands more critical jobs will be created throughout the lifetime of the programme.

We are partnering with the very best of UK industry and academia, leveraging innovative technologies and forward-thinking processes to drive ground-breaking technology development at pace.
 
We are working alongside businesses inside and outside of the traditional defence sector, including SMEs from the gaming industry, motorsport industry and health management sectors.
 
Involvement in the Tempest programme is providing suppliers with a wide range of additional benefits, including upskilling their workforce and manufacturing and engineering capabilities, which in turn, is driving growth opportunities for their businesses.
