With cyber-attacks being hard to attribute to particular threat actors and having the potential to cause significant societal damage, the concept of ‘CEMA’ (cyber and electromagnetic activities) is a global concern.
And the threat is only going to become more challenging over the coming years.
According to the senior defence leaders we surveyed:
- 68% believe that cyber-attacks pose the biggest vulnerability to national defence
- 89% agree that cyber and hybrid warfare will be major challenges in the future battlespace
- 93% agree that MDI strategies allow for a proactive response to cybersecurity attacks
