The relationship between the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia has evolved over more than 100 years, and reflects the nations’ shared priorities in a number of areas, including trade and investment; energy and climate change; and defence and security.
 
BAE Systems has been present in the Kingdom under this relationship for more than half a century. BAE Systems operates under the strategic Government to Government relationship, supporting the UK to fulfil its obligations under the Government to Government defence agreement and helping Saudi Arabia to meet its security needs while continuing to develop its sovereign defence industry through support of Vision 2030.
