For more than 30 years, BAE Systems has been advancing its cybersecurity products portfolio to meet and exceed the increasingly escalating data security mandates of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), intelligence community (IC), and critical infrastructure clientele. This growing portfolio of class-leading technologies enables protection and sharing of sensitive information across various security classifications where and when it’s needed, which has also earned it the trust of information assurance personnel and mission leaders.
Secure communications across multiple domains and platforms
Mission success depends on secure communications, whether those carrying out the mission are on land, at sea, in the air, in space, or a mix of them all – including Multi-Domain Operations (MDO). That’s why BAE Systems designs and builds a portfolio of cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies, including cross-domain solutions that meet all National Cross Domain Services Management Office (NCDSMO) and NSA Raise-The-Bar (RTB) requirements. These products lead the industry, including ultra-secure operating systems, bi-directional guards, one-way transfer (OWT) devices, future-ready Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA), and more that can be deployed at either a broad enterprise level or a tactical, SWaP-friendly level.
Although we built this portfolio to protect DoD and IC concerns, in recent years there has also been a profusion of cyber attacks on city and state governments, critical infrastructure elements like power grids and water systems, hospitals, research facilities, and a range of private industry targets. From the battlefield, to the voting booth, to the boardroom, BAE Systems’ portfolio of advanced cybersecurity products and services have exactly what it takes to secure the future.
Our core portfolio of cybersecurity products and services includes:
Among our multiple OWT solutions is the first common criteria EAL 7+ evaluated product in the U.S. – the Data Diode Solution™ for unidirectional transfer. The diode is a hardware-enforced unidirectional solution for secure handling of data transfers.
The revolutionary XTS® Diode is a RTB compliant, one-way transfer (OWT) device. It enables the transfer of streaming data, or files between networks by utilizing pitcher / catcher software to transmit and receive data needed by users on networks of different classification levels. This software is hosted on our high assurance operating system STOP™ as well as Red Hat Enterprise Linux. XTS Diode seamlessly integrates with the XTS Guard to comply with the latest RTB architectures for deployment.
Our XTS® Guard 7 is NSA RTB-compliant and a NCDSMO-listed cross domain solution. The XTS Guard 7 is certified for multi-directional automated data transfers between networks, domains, and electronic assets for up to 20 domains in the enterprise chassis and eight domains in our Small Form Factor (SFF) tactical solutions. A single solution supports multiple data protocols with a variety of content inspection filters to alleviate challenges faced by customers. XTS Guard can be used in Data Center Cross Domain Solution (DCCDS) or Tactical Cross Domain Solution (TCDS) environments.
The premier secure operating system that provides flexible security policies, STOP™ is a Linux®-compatible application programming interface, and is high performance. It’s designed to give defense, intelligence community, government, and enterprise solution providers and integrators a trustworthy, robust, and certifiable foundation for developing trusted information sharing, cross domain guarding, Multi-Level Security (MLS), and server applications.
For customers with hardware-based requirements for access, transfer, and filtering, BAE Systems provides FPGA solutions that exceed RTB requirements.
For networks and systems with hardware-based requirements for access, transfer, and filtering, BAE Systems provides a range of FPGA solutions that exceed the current RTB requirements. These future-ready solutions include a Secure Import Gateway (SIG), a Secure Export Gateway (SEG), a Secure Browse-Down Gateway, a Secure VoIP Gateway, Secure VTC Gateway, as well as a Secure Motion Imagery Gateway for ISR transfers.
