Andrew Pearcey, CEO of World Defense Show, said: “We are delighted to welcome BAE Systems as our Principal Partner for the WDS 2026 Future Talent Program. BAE Systems’ deep-rooted presence in Saudi Arabia and dedication to local talent development and Saudization makes it an ideal partner for this important initiative. With its support, WDS can continue to develop a strong, sustainable pipeline of local talent to serve the Kingdom’s future defense needs.
Building on its success in previous years, World Defense Show has seen significant growth in its Future Talent Program, expanding from engaging over 2,400 students from 56 academic institutions in 2022 to 3,000 students from 80 academic institutions by 2024. The 2026 edition, scheduled to take place from 8–12 February in Riyadh, will continue this momentum with a robust program of technological showcases, youth engagement and strategic industry dialogue.
