Built around you
Your reward and recognition
From an informal 'thank you' or 'well done', to our annual awards — there are a number of ways we show appreciation for each other and our employees.
- Employee Spotlight Awards
For our Employee Spotlight Awards, any employee can nominate a colleague or a team of up to 10 people. Successful nominees are then also considered for our Quarterly Outstanding Achievement Awards. There are three categories under which individuals or teams can be recognised: living our company behaviours, delivering for our customer, and putting safety first.
- Trades Awards
The Apprentice, Tradesperson & Team Leader Awards Scheme — also known as the Trades Awards — is a recognition program designed to promote and celebrate excellence among our trades workforce. Nominations for these awards generally take place in June each year, and will be communicated through our Toolbox Talks and other channels around this time.
- International Profit Sharing Scheme (discretionary)
Free shares are awarded to eligible employees on annual basis based on company performance.
Your wellness and community benefits
The health and wellbeing of our employees is important to us, so we've curated a range of wellness and community benefits to support your work-life balance.
Social clubs
Social clubs provide a great way to meet and get to know your co-workers from other teams at your work location, as well as provide a touch of work-life balance. Clubs are coordinated by committees of energetic and passionate volunteers who organise a variety of events and activities for employees throughout the year. You will find information at your site on how to join one of our clubs:
- Canberra Social Club
- Destroyer Social Club (Garden Island)
- Marine WA Social Club
- South Australian Social Club
