The purpose of Export Controls is to support national security and foreign policy by ensuring that military and dual use exports are kept out of the hands of unauthorised users and not used for unauthorised purposes. The Company and all its employees must comply with all relevant Export Control laws and regulations.
The Company is committed to maintaining an effective system of Export Control compliance that is designed to avoid violations, detect violations promptly if they occur, and provide timely responses to actual or suspected violations including prompt investigations and appropriate remedial actions.
The Company maintains an open and active dialogue with regulatory bodies responsible for the enforcement of Export Control laws and regulations in all the countries in which its businesses are located.
Our Policy covers the following requirements:
- Employee communication and training, including role specific training, to support understanding of Export Control standards and procedures;
- Dedicated trained teams with Export Control-related objectives in their annual performance development review;
- Policies, procedural steps (including records management) and systems required to implement Policy;
- Regular assurance activity to support compliance with the Policy; and
- Breaches, reporting and an investigation procedure.
