Export controls support national security and foreign policy by governing transactions of military and dual use goods, software, technology and services. Export controls keep military and dual use articles and technology out of the hands of unauthorised users and prevent unauthorised end uses. The Company is subject to such controls in all jurisdictions where it operates. The Company and its employees must comply with all relevant Export Control laws and regulations.
The Company is committed to maintaining an effective system of export control compliance that is designed to prevent, detect, and provide timely responses to actual or suspected violations including prompt investigations and appropriate remedial actions.
The Company will maintain an open and active dialogue with regulatory bodies responsible for the enforcement of export control laws and regulations in all the countries in which its businesses are located.
Our Policy covers the following requirements:
- Employee communication and training, including role specific training, to support understanding of export control standards and procedures;
- Dedicated trained teams with export control-related objectives in their annual performance development review;
- Policies, procedural steps (including records management) and systems required to implement Policy;
- Regular assurance activity to support compliance with the Policy; and
- Breaches, reporting and an investigation procedure.
