In February, we celebrated National Engineers Week with a team-building competition called “Mission Impossible: The Next Assignment.” The competition was difficult, but picking the winners was even more challenging.
National Engineers Week Challenge: The Results Are In
Charleston, SC

In an impressive display of collaboration and  camaraderie, more than 400 employees – both engineers and non-engineers – participated at locations such as Washington, D.C.; Rockville, Md.; Charleston, S.C.; Quantico and Dahlgren, Va.; Roy, Utah; and Phoenix, Ariz.

Teams, made up of two to five competitors, were tasked with building a Rube Goldberg machine that was required to ring a “global threat detection bell.” Participants were given a box of random materials and 30 minutes to complete their mission. The top prize was a spot on BAE Systems’ “MI Elite Task Force.”

And the winner is...

Team "Disqualified" took home the gold as overall best performers.
