Over the last nine months eight teams have been working on their designs for this years' Apprentice Innovation challenge. On 12 January the teams showcased their designs at the Royal Academy of Engineering

A pair of Hawk T2 pilots preparing to show off fast jet training in the skies over UK air shows this summer have taken a look at where we now build the aircraft they fly. Flt Lt Ben Polwin and Flt Lt Toby Keeley, members of the Number 4 Flying Training School based at RAF Valley in Anglesey, will perform a role demonstration of the jet trainer.
