Eurofighter Typhoon

Eurofighter Typhoon

Eurofighter Typhoon is the most advanced multi-role combat aircraft available on the market today.

In essence, that means Typhoon is proven to carry out a wide range of tasks concurrently, whether that’s taking on rival aircraft in the skies or attacking targets on land or at sea.

24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Typhoon is securing the skies of the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East and the South Atlantic, on Quick Reaction Alert, and forms the backbone of NATO’s European air defence. Agile, flexible and combat proven, Typhoon combines huge amounts of thrust from its twin EJ200 engines with incredible agility to give it amazing performance and agility.

However, it is brain power which really sets Typhoon apart, bringing together information from it’s a wide range of sensors in what’s known as sensor fusion. It is this which gives pilots the data and time they need to take mission-critical split-second decisions giving them the combat edge where it counts.

Typhoon is an aircraft designed to continually evolve and its still fully untapped potential continues to be realised as technology develops. A proven development path, backed by investment and skills of the four Eurofighter partner nations, the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain, will now see Typhoon evolve to become the complete battlefield controller.
