Overview

The Vertex Company, a V2X company, awarded a contract to BAE Systems in 2022 to provide increased logistics and engineering support for the fleet of nearly 200 aircraft. 

Together, the companies play a vital role in enabling the US Navy and US Marine Corp’s pilot training program for jet carrier aviation and tactical strike missions.

BAE Systems has extensive experience in predictive modelling capabilities and forecasting to determine the long-term requirements of the warfighter. The Company is already delivering maintenance and support to Typhoon, Tornado and F-35 aircraft in the UK, US, Middle East and Australia.

Engineers, logistics, and sustainment specialists work alongside Vertex at US Naval Air Stations in Kingsville, Texas; Meridian, Mississippi; Pensacola, Florida; and at Vertex’s headquarters in Madison, Mississippi, supported by engineers in the UK with a proven pedigree of delivering maintenance and support contracts for the UK, US, Middle East, and Australia.
