Overview
Conveniently located in one of the U.S. Navy's mega-ports, the shipyard encompasses 20 acres of property and over 16.6 acres of water area on San Diego Bay. The shipyard property is leased from the Port of San Diego and is located north of Naval Base San Diego, nearby the San Diego-Coronado Bridge. The business also operates an offsite administrative/operations support building in Chula Vista, CA.
ISO 9001-certified, BAE Systems Maritime Solutions San Diego maintains fully-equipped shops and can plan, manage and perform all levels of repair or modernization, both emergent and regularly scheduled, for more than 50 U.S. Navy vessels homeported in San Diego and the various commercial ships that make port calls there.
