The Bradley Fighting Vehicle is a critical, next-generation capability in the U.S. Army’s Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT) formation.
The Bradley A4 – the recently modernized variant in production – is built with proven durability and commonality of design to reduce the logistics burden, while enhancing battlefield performance to meet a variety of mission requirements in close-combat, urban scenarios and open-combat situations. It also features the latest digitized electronics for optimum situational awareness, network connectivity and communication within the ABCT.
The A4 packs the firepower, mobility and survivability Soldiers demand in today and tomorrow’s multi-domain operations. It greatly improves Soldier safety and the ability to dominate the adversary no matter the terrain, temperature or threat.
BAE Systems has decades of history book-worthy experience manufacturing and fully integrating systems for the Bradley Family of Vehicles program, including conducting various upgrades based on customer needs and mission requirements. Work on the Bradley program is primarily done at BAE Systems’ production facility in York, Pennsylvania.
