David Armstrong is the Group Managing Director of BAE Systems Digital Intelligence. David joined the Company in January 2018 as Director Air - Europe and International before taking over as Group Business Development Director in January 2019.
Prior to this David had an extensive career in MBDA culminating with him being appointed as Managing Director at MBDA UK.
David is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and Royal Aeronautical Society. In 2007 he was awarded an MBE for service to defence. The Academie de L’Air and de L’Espace awarded him the Grand Prix in 2009, followed in 2018 with the Vermeil medal.
In addition to his role as Group Managing Director of BAE Systems Digital Intelligence, David sits on the boards of MBDA and BNA.
David’s interests include golf, mountain walking and gardening.
