Chris is our Senior Independent Director. He is Chair of the UK Infrastructure Bank and Chair designate of Tilney Smith & Williamson. He has held a range of leadership roles including Chief Executive of Barclays Commercial Bank and, most recently, Chief Executive of The British Land Company PLC, a position he held for over 11 years. He brings extensive public company and business leadership experience to the Board.
Chris has more than 30 years’ experience in the banking and real estate industries. He was formerly a partner at Goldman Sachs and a former member of the executive board of the European Public Real Estate Association, and the board of the British Property Federation.
He holds an MA in Economics from Cambridge University.
