Under the Future Maritime Support Programme (FMSP) contracts, we will continue to deliver ship asset management, repair and maintenance for the Royal Navy’s Portsmouth flotilla as well as infrastructure, asset management and services through a new joint venture between BAE Systems and KBR. This joint venture will be called KBS Maritime.

The joint venture will combine the expertise of KBR as a global leader in infrastructure asset management and services with BAE Systems’ experience and capability within the naval base.

It will deliver ambitious, modern and enduring change to the Portsmouth base infrastructure, securing investment in the local community and ensuring fit-for-purpose, world-leading fleet support for the Royal Navy and the UK in the decades ahead.

We are proud of our record of improvements made in Portsmouth Naval Base and are excited by the opportunity FMSP gives us to continue delivering transformation alongside KBR and other new service providers
