Our 30,000+ employees in the U.S. are motivated by a desire to “protect those who protect us.” And that holds true even in times of uncertainty, like the current COVID-19 global pandemic.
We believe that our priorities, and our character, are revealed through our actions, and that’s why we live our commitment to the military every day. We are proud to recruit and hire veterans, and work to foster a supportive community for them within our employee population. We also partner with many external organizations that support current service members, veterans, and their families – through corporate giving, employee volunteer hours, company-matched donations, and in-kind support.
This year, for safety reasons, our employees will be participating in virtual volunteer opportunities and wearing red on Fridays to show solidarity and support for deployed service members. Our Veterans’ Support Network employee resource group will even hold a virtual flag-raising for Memorial Day instead of our normal in-person site events.
When the going gets tough, we find ways to come together and keep going. It’s who we are as a nation and as a company.
