The Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) announced the appointment of DeEtte Gray, president of BAE Systems’ , to serve on its 2013 Board of Directors. In this leadership position, Gray will join the new Board Chairman, Ambassador John Negroponte, and other Board members in further strengthening INSA’s growing influence in the intelligence and national security community.

In addition to Gray, INSA announced the appointment of five other members to its Board of Directors, and five members to its Board of Advisors. During their three-year term, the members will guide INSA through its leadership changes and advise on the development and strategic direction of the organization.

“The new Board members each bring the industry knowledge and career experience we need to grow INSA’s membership and lead INSA to the next level of support for the public, private and academic sectors of the IC,” said Chuck Alsup, INSA Acting President and Vice President for Policy.

Gray brings to the Board a wealth of experience in the national security and information technology arenas. Prior to joining BAE Systems as the President of the Intelligence & Security sector, Gray held a succession of positions at Lockheed Martin supporting the information and national security needs of various federal customers.
