Shauna Moore is vice president of Internal Audit for BAE Systems, Inc., responsible for leading the function to ensure the organization maintains the highest levels of accountability and governance to enhance operational effectiveness and mitigate business risks. In this senior leadership role, Moore collaborates across the diverse, U.S.-based businesses to assess systems, processes, and their level of compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
Moore joined BAE Systems in 2002, beginning her career in the Financial Leadership Development Program. During her nearly 20 years with the company, Moore has accumulated experience in a broad range of accounting and finance disciplines, as well as across BAE Systems, Inc. and its sectors, business areas, and key programs.
Before joining the Inc. headquarters team in January 2019, Moore served as senior director of Accounting and Controls for the Electronic Systems sector, which followed her work with the Electronic Combat Solutions team as the senior project finance manager for the F-35 Production Program portfolio. She has established a proven track record as a respected leader for driving continuous improvement on programs and critical functions.
Moore received both a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance and a master’s degree in Corporate Finance from Bentley College.
