Guy Montminy is president of the BAE Systems, Inc. Platforms & Services sector, which includes the company’s U.S. and international military vehicle and weapon systems businesses, its ship repair organization, and its munitions site management business. Headquartered in Arlington, Va., Platforms & Services is one of three sectors in BAE Systems, Inc. The sector employs more than 11,500 people around the world with major operations in Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Prior to joining the sector, Guy served as the senior vice president and deputy general manager for the Electronic Systems sector from 2017 to mid-2018, where he was responsible for overseeing sector operations including accountability for human capital strategy and achieving operational excellence. Headquartered in Nashua, N.H., the electronics sector's operations span commercial and defense electronics markets. Its broad portfolio includes mission critical electronic systems from flight and engine controls to electronic warfare, night vision systems, surveillance and reconnaissance sensors, mobile networked-communications equipment, geospatial imagery intelligence products and systems, mission management and power and energy management systems.

In 2014, Guy was promoted to Senior Vice President of Finance for BAE Systems, Inc. a U.S.-based, international defense, aerospace, and security company with approximately 30,000 employees and annual sales of over $10b. Serving until January 2017, when he returned to the Electronic Systems sector in line management capacity.

Guy previously served as Vice President of Finance for the Electronic Systems sector from 2009 to 2013; Vice President of Finance for the Sensor Systems line of business 2004 to 2008; and Controller for BAE Systems' former Information & Electronic Systems Integration business 2000 to 2004. He has also served in leadership roles in new business capture, technology licensing, divestitures and acquisitions.

He holds a master's degree in accountancy from Bentley College and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Massachusetts. He is a graduate of BAE Systems Financial Leadership Development Program and served as the program's director.

Guy is a former adjunct accounting and finance professor and currently serves on the accounting academic advisory board of the University of New Hampshire's Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. He also currently serves on the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua Board of Directors.
