09:45: Combat air announcement
Location: The Stand then Media Centre – BAE Systems, HALL 5
The 21st century battlespace has rapidly evolved in recent years and requires a full spectrum capability mix to meet current and future challenges. Join us on our stand as we reveal our latest advanced technology designed to keep the UK and its allies at the forefront of combat air. The reveal will be accompanied by commentary from our senior leaders followed by a more detailed media briefing in our Media Centre.
At the forefront of combat air superiority
Typhoon will continue in operation with air forces across Europe and the Middle East well into the 2060s due to continuous investment by Eurofighter partners ensuring the aircraft remains at the forefront of combat air superiority. Typhoon is also powering economic value and growing sovereign industrial capability, securing more than 20,000 jobs and contributing £1.4bn to the UK economy in export sales, which has already returned more than double the UK's £12 billion investment back to the economy.
We are continually investing in Typhoon to maintain its cutting edge military capability, ensuring it remains the backbone of combat air, whilst developing and deploying technologies central to the next generation of the UK’s combat air capability – Tempest.
Uncrewed teaming
The battlespace of the future will see crewed and uncrewed aircraft flying as part of a digitally-connected force. We are using our expertise to accelerate and prove possibilities for future combined fleets.
Sovereign skills and capability
The Eurofighter Typhoon is one of the most successful UK defence programmes, bringing export sales worth double the £12 billion invested by the UK Government, with the potential for more to come.
Securing our
skies
On Quick Reaction Alert, Typhoon secures more than 1.4 million kilometres of sovereign air space over Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom and a combined population of more than 257 million people.

BAE Systems and NEC sign MoU to strengthen Japan's active cyber defence
BAE Systems and NEC Corporation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to combine expertise for the implementation of active cyber defence (ACD) solutions for the Japanese Government.
