1 - Striker® II Helmet-Mounted Display

Striker® II Digital Helmet The Striker® II Helmet-Mounted Display (HMD) is the most advanced HMD in the world. Fully digital and in full colour, it provides combat pilots with remarkable situational awareness, night vision, target tracking and 3D audio — all within a fully integrated, visor-projected helmet.
The new platform-agnostic Striker II HMD builds on our original Striker HMD, which is in-service in more than eight nations and proven through decades of combat experience. Striker II HMD integrates a high-performance digital night vision camera which eliminates the need to manually configure and adjust night vision goggles.
The seamless day-to-night transition means there is no trade-off between the situational awareness provided by the visor-projected display and the acuity of the night vision goggles. The compact system allows the pilot unhindered movement within the cockpit and reduces the effects of g-force on the pilot’s head and neck to improve comfort all while maintaining tracking display performance throughout the mission.



2 - LiteHUD® Head-Up Display

LiteHUD LiteHUD® is a small and compact Head-Up Display (HUD), offering space and weight advantages, paired with our latest and patented optical waveguide technology.

Its modular and lightweight design improves flight safety, reducing fatigue and increasing situational awareness day or night. Providing seamless operation with night vision goggles, LiteHUD allows for incremental capability upgrades with minimal impact to helmet and aircraft installation. 

Our revolutionary optical waveguide technology manipulates and controls light in order to present symbology to the pilot. It allows the system to be more compact — 60 percent smaller by volume and up to 50 percent lighter than conventional HUDs — simplifying its integration into both existing and future cockpits, while still providing a significantly larger eye motion box than a typical HUD.



3 - Digital Light Engine Head-Up Display (DLE HUD)

Designed for mission effectiveness, our Digital Light Engine (DLE) Head-Up Display (HUD) is a modular, electro-optic digital upgrade for traditional analogue HUDs. The advanced DLE technology removes the conventional Cathode Ray Tube image source and introduces an advanced digital projector.
The DLE technology can be seamlessly integrated into existing aircraft systems, mitigating the need for costly cabling and computer changes. For aircraft being upgraded with digital systems, DLE provides the opportunity to simplify the aircraft architecture by removing the need for legacy analogue drive systems. The HUD is designed to accommodate increased symbology in high-resolution, be viewable under any flight condition, as well as provide advanced video capability with consistent luminance throughout the life of equipment.



4 - Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS®) Laser-Guided Rocket

The U.S. Government's only program of record for 2.75 in / 70 mm laser-guided rockets, our APKWS rocket bridges the gap between unguided rockets and anti-armor munitions. The Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS®) guidance kit transforms an unguided rocket into a precision-guided rocket, giving warfighters a low-cost surgical strike capability. Currently in its sixth year of full-rate production, the APKWS laser-guided rocket is used by the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Army, and U.S. Air Force, as well as a growing number of allied nations.
As the only U.S. Department of Defense fully qualified, guided 2.75-inch (70mm) rocket, it uses semi-active laser guidance technology to strike soft and lightly armoured targets in confined areas. The guidance section has been qualified on 20 rotary and fixed-wing platforms. It is a U.S. Navy Program Of Record – meaning it is currently approved in the current Future Years Defense Program – and is available to international allies through the Foreign Military Sales process.



- Advanced Threat Infrared Countermeasure (ATIRCM) System

ATIRCM - FIAS 2018 The Advanced Threat Infrared Countermeasure (ATIRCM) system is the U.S. Army standard for directable laser-based countermeasure systems with over 400,000 operational flight hours to date.
ATIRCM provides aircraft protection against a variety of advanced infrared threats. Since its integration on CH-47 Chinook helicopters in late 2009, the ATIRCM system has proven to be the most reliable directable infrared countermeasure system fielded to date, and is credited with saving aircraft and aircrew from missile attacks.
In 2015, the U.S. Department of Defense approved this product for export, making this critical, life-saving technology available to allied nations for use on military, government end-use and head-of-state platforms.



6 - Common Missile Warning System (CMWS)

placeholder The Common Missile Warning System (CMWS) provides combat-proven missile warning and hostile fire detection for rotary-wing and fixed-wing aircraft.
CMWS integrates hostile fire indication with missile warning that enables high performance in complex missile, small arms and rocket-propelled grenade scenarios. Fielded in over 17 countries, we have delivered and installed more than 2,000 CMWS units on over 40 platform variants, with a recorded reliability four times the objective requirement.
Fielded by the U.S. Army since 2005, CMWS has logged more than 3 million combat theatre flight hours, saving dozens of aircraft and hundreds of lives in an ever-changing, complex threat environment.



- Active Sticks (Active Inceptors)

Active sticks - FIAS 2018 Commonly referred to as “sticks”, inceptors are the controls that pilots use to direct and manoeuver an aircraft. They cover a variety of pilot controls on fixed and rotary-wing platforms including side sticks, centre sticks, throttles, cyclics and collectives.
Inceptors are traditionally connected to directional aircraft surfaces and power controls through mechanical linkages. In an active inceptor system, two inceptors can be electronically coupled as if they were mechanically linked. Dual-pilot aircraft can therefore benefit from the additional feel and cueing capabilities without the weight and through-life cost penalties of actual mechanical linkages..



- LinkEdge™ Active Parallel Actuator Subsystem

LinkEdge™ – also referred to as APAS (Active Parallel Actuation Subsystem) – provides the benefits of tactile cueing to aircraft without fly-by-wire. It is an inceptor system that provides force-feel to aircraft having mechanically interconnected pilot stations and displacement-trim flight controls.
Unlike an active inceptor, with which the output is an electrical signal, LinkEdge is mechanically linked to the controls via a clutch, without severing the direct linkage from the grips to the control surfaces.



- ALQ-239 Digital Electronic Warfare System (DEWS)

Image of Digital Electronic Warfare System (DEWS) The Digital Electronic Warfare System (DEWS) protects new and legacy aircraft by providing radar warning, situational awareness, offensive targeting support and self-protection.
System capabilities include all-aspect, broadband radar warning, emitter location, multispectral Radio Frequency / Infrared countermeasures and response management.

These capabilities are accomplished through a digital radar-warning receiver, digital Radio Frequency memory jamming and an integrated countermeasures dispenser to provide fifth generation Electronic Warfare capability.



10 - Multifunctional Information Distribution System Joint Tactical Radio System (MIDS JTRS)

The Multifunctional Information Distribution System Joint Tactical Radio System (MIDS JTRS) is a new communications data link terminal. It is a four-channel radio designed to run the complex Link 16 waveform and up to three additional communication protocols, including the airborne networking waveform.
It replaces numerous legacy radios, reducing the need for excessive spares and logistics support. The terminal can also host and provide the necessary computer processing to run routing and platform specific applications, allowing for lower cost integration into host platforms.
By using software applications for expanded capability, the MIDS JTRS terminal enables enhanced operational effectiveness without consuming additional space, weight or power. Aircraft such as fighters, tankers, transport, command and control and rotary wing, along with maritime and fixed sites, are all potential users.



11 - Lead Exploitation Intelligence (LEXI) Software Suite

Image - LEXI - FIAS 2018 The Lead Exploitation Intelligence (LEXI) software allows intelligence professionals to access and evaluate a broad range of data from various sources using the communication and network resources available.
The suite offers open data architecture, proven multi-intelligence data analytics and an intuitive visualisation framework that supports disconnected, intermittent and limited communications.
This modern application enables users to discover, understand and act upon the knowledge hidden in the significant streams of collated intelligence and distributed data stores. With LEXI, users can synchronise relevant data with tablets and other mobile devices. These devices can be taken on missions to collect and process additional data and upon their return, can synchronise again to share new information up and down the chain of command to those that need to know.



12 - Ruggedized Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (RISR) Station

Image - RISR - FIAS 2018 The Ruggedized Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (RISR) station provides tactical intelligence professionals at the edge of the battlefield access to tools and information that have previously only been available at fixed-site intelligence centres.
Merging mobile processing, the ability to reach back through disadvantaged networks, and hosting standard intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance applications provides a significant advantage. Forward deployed intelligence teams can now support near-real-time decision making instead of depending on organisations far removed from the local situation.
RISR ensures that intelligence can be monitored, analysed and shared from a variety of current sensors. The system supports modules for Electro-Optical / Infrared analysis, tactical SIGINT (advanced signals intelligence) analysis and full-motion video analysis.
It can be configured with commercial and government off-the-shelf applications to support specific mission needs. Every RISR has the ability to rapidly deploy, connect with organic sensors and evaluate and disseminate intelligence with other local users and the intelligence enterprise.



13 - Tactical SIGINT Payload

UAV uses BAE Systems signals intelligence system to gather critical data Tactical SIGNIT Payload (TSP) is an advanced sensor system capable of processing conventional, modern and standard military signals from a single payload. Accurately identifying and exploiting targets, the system intercepts signals across a wide area to deliver advanced signals intelligence (SIGINT) to the U.S. Army’s MQ-1C Gray Eagle aircraft.
TSP’s software-defined architecture gives it the versatility to support an array of missions, while also providing room for growth as needs change. This modular and scalable design gives TSP the flexibility for integration on a wide range of current and future, manned and unmanned, aerial platforms.



14 - AN/DPX-7 Reduced Size Transponder (RST)

The AN/DPX-7 Reduced Size Transponder (RST) is our next-generation Identification Friend or Foe transponder, incorporating features required for the new standards in military and air traffic control methods.
It provides Mode 5, Mode S, and ADS-B functionality in a reduced-size case at a lower cost than current military transponders. The RST also supports Mode 5 Level 2 and ADS-B passive receive capability to support situational awareness and sense-and-avoid applications.
It is available for integration on all platforms, but is ideal for Unmanned Aircraft Systems and helicopters with size, weight, and power constraints. The extensive use of programmable technology in the AN/DPX-7 ensures its versatility and future utility through software upgrades without the risk and cost associated with hardware modifications.



15 - AN/APX-123/A Transponder

The AN/APX-123/A is the U.S. Navy and Army standard transponder for all retrofit and new product applications. It incorporates all of the advanced features required in today’s global military and civil air traffic control environments. The AN/APX-123/A transponder contains a National Security Agency-certified M4/M5 crypto and meets all U.S. and NATO Mode 5 requirements.
The transponder’s open-system architecture design and high-density field programmable gate array technology ensures ongoing versatility and future utility through software upgrade only, without the risk and cost associated with hardware modifications. The CXP is configured for replacement of all AN/APX-100, AN/APX-101, AN/APX-108, AN/APX-64, AN/APX-72 and AN/UPX-28 transponders.



16 - AN/APX-126 Combined Interrogator Transponder

Combined Interrogator Transponders are compact, versatile Identification Friend or Foe systems for highly mobile platforms. They provide the warfighter with added ability to identify friendly aircraft in secure environments.
The AN/APX-126 CIT system uses Mode 5 and Mode S to positively identify friendly forces, helping determine targets in the immediate battlespace and well beyond a pilot’s visual range. Currently fielded on multiple F-16 blocks and derivative aircraft, the AN/APX-126 is operating on both U.S. and international platforms.
