BAE Systems’ Tactical SIGINT Payload is the next-generation of airborne signals intelligence for the U.S. Army’s MQ-1C Gray Eagle and future unmanned aerial system platforms.
BAE Systems’ Tactical SIGINT Payload is capable of processing conventional, modern, and standard military signals from a single payload. Currently operating on the U.S. Army’s MQ-1C Gray Eagle, TSP is the next generation airborne signals intelligence (SIGINT) system, integrating unique software-defined open architecture while also using COMINT collection, direction finding, and geo-location.
Available for integration on future UAS platforms, TSP leverages ruggedized commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware to provide a scalable solution adaptable to various platforms and missions. The system operates remotely over both Line of Sight (LOS) and Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) networks, so that combat commanders receive a 360-degree aerial view of their operational area in near real time.
TSP has the capability to simultaneously collect multiple signal protocols and can be reconfigured on the fly, supporting single and multiple operators from anywhere in the world. The system delivers secure intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, providing combat commanders with a distinct advantage on the battlefield of today and tomorrow.
