Following contract signature with the Sultanate of Oman in December 2012, we will be supplying 12 Typhoon and eight Hawk Advanced Jet Trainer (AJT) aircraft to the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), along with in-service support to its operational tasks. Deliveries are expected to commence in 2017.

Working together

The contract strengthens the long standing relationship between ourselves and the Sultanate of Oman.

This contract is further recognition that both Typhoon and Hawk are leading aircraft in their class, providing the best capabilities available.

We have an established office in Oman and are proud to have been able to support the Sultan’s Armed Forces for the past 50 years. In the air sector, our relationship (through our predecessor companies) dates back to the Pioneer and the Percival Provost. Through this latest contract we are delighted that we can continue with this relationship in the future.

Oman currently operates Jaguar fighter aircraft and trains pilots on an earlier variant of the Hawk.
