We aim to communicate openly with our stakeholders about our business and how we work. Two-way dialogue helps us understand their views and concerns, and explain our approach. Sometimes, however, national security concerns prevent us from talking openly about all aspects of our operations.
We use stakeholder feedback to inform our strategy and approach to managing CR. We interact with stakeholders as part of normal business practice. Examples include regular employee surveys and dialogue with trade unions. We also work closely with our strategic suppliers on joint projects and bids, and communicate the standards we expect them to meet.
We work with governments and NGOs on common issues of concern either directly or through industry and trade bodies. Recent examples include negotiations on the development of the UN Arms Trade Treaty.
